Create an inventory

Creating an inventory will enable you to identify not only what needs to be moved, but what needs to be replaced or upgraded. This way, you can hit the ground running with everything you need as soon as you move into your new commercial premises.

Include your ISP and telecoms contracts in your inventory too.

It’s well worth visiting your site with a project manager to get to grips with the layout and what you’ll need to install ahead of the move. Count the number of phone lines and power outlets – are there enough for your team? Remember to get in touch with your service providers so they can make sure internet and telecoms connections are in place in time for your move.
